Privacy Policy

This page explains what the Dreamland website, DreamLIVE Jukebox, mobile app, optional guest sign-in, alerts, and Dreamlist collect about you, why, and how to change your choices or have your information deleted.

If you just cheer or pick an oshi

You don't need an account to send a cheer or pick a favorite maid (your oshi). Your browser makes up one random ID for itself and keeps it in your phone's local storage. When you cheer or pick, we only ever see a scrambled, one-way version of that ID — we can't turn it back into the number your browser actually holds.

If you create a guest account

On the website, signing in with an email and password gives your guest account a name and email address. We never store the password itself — only a one-way scrambled version that can check a login attempt but can't be reversed back into your password.

In the iPhone app, optional Sign in with Apple gives Dreamland the Apple account identifier plus the name and email Apple chooses to share; Apple may provide a private relay email instead of your regular address. The current Android app has no guest-account sign-in. You can use the schedule, DreamLIVE, cheers, Oshi features, and alerts without an account.

If you turn on mobile alerts

The app sends Dreamland a random installation ID, an Expo push token, the phone platform, app version, language/locale, time zone, and the alert choices you make. Dreamland keeps both the push token needed to deliver an alert and a one-way token hash used to verify later changes. These values are used to address this installation, respect quiet hours and your choices, diagnose incompatible app versions, and deliver the Dreamland alerts you requested.

Turning alerts off in the app marks that registration inactive before the app removes its local push-registration values. An interrupted turn-off stays pending and retries rather than silently registering the phone again.

If you join the Dreamlist

To join the email Dreamlist, you must check the email box and submit the form. Google ad matching is a separate, optional choice and starts unchecked. If you choose it, Dreamland may send Google a normalized, one-way SHA-256 hash of your email so Google can try to match it to an account for Dreamland ads. Dreamland does not receive your Google account details.

For each Dreamlist signup, we record the time, signup page, policy version, and exact disclosure shown. Creating an account, signing in, or turning on service alerts does not join the email Dreamlist. The app's separate Dreamlist switch controls push alerts, not email, and also starts off.

What we keep tied to your account or device

• Which performer or performers you've picked as your oshi.
• How many cheers you've sent each performer this week — cheers reset every Monday at midnight PT, so we don't keep a running lifetime tally against you.
• If alerts are on: this installation's ID, push token and token hash, platform, app version, locale, time zone, alert preferences, and active/inactive status.
• If you choose guest sign-in: the account identifier and profile details described above, plus your Oshi selections and DreamLIVE activity tied to that account.
• If you join the email Dreamlist: your email, each consent choice, the exact disclosure version, the time and signup page, and basic submission security details.

What we don't collect

The Dreamland app, DreamLIVE, and Dreamlist features described here do not collect payment-card details, phone contacts, photos, audio, precise location, mobile advertising IDs, a phone number, or a home address.

How we use it

To show the current cafe schedule and DreamLIVE content, keep your Oshi pick and cheer count attached to you, restore those choices across devices after optional sign-in, let you sign back in later, email a password reset link if you ask for one, deliver only the mobile alerts you chose, and send Dreamlist updates or create a consented Google audience when you separately ask for those uses.

The website also uses a Google tag to measure page visits and named button clicks. A button click helps Dreamland understand which paths people use, but it does not prove that a reservation or order was completed.

Keeping this safe from abuse

To stop scripts and spam, sign-in attempts, cheers, oshi picks, and Dreamlist submissions are rate-limited using your network address. Dreamlist submissions also keep the network address, browser details, and referring page with the submission for security and audit purposes; they are not added to your public profile.

Who we share it with

Dreamland Anime Cafe can see its own guests' accounts, DreamLIVE activity, mobile-alert registrations, and Dreamlist submissions. FyneSite, the platform NovaMind AI runs this site and app service on, processes that data on the cafe's behalf. Expo routes requested alerts to Apple Push Notification Service or Firebase Cloud Messaging. Apple processes optional Sign in with Apple on iPhone. If you separately choose Google advertising matching, Google receives the normalized, hashed email for that purpose. An email delivery service may process your address when Dreamland sends an update. We don't sell your information.

Cookies

Signing in on the website sets one signed, secure cookie that keeps you signed in on this site for up to 7 days. It only works here. The native app uses protected local storage for installation, alert, preference, and optional session values. The Google tag may use browser storage or identifiers according to Dreamland's Google configuration and your browser or device settings.

Your choices

You never have to make an account to enjoy DreamLIVE. You can turn alerts and the app's Dreamlist choice off in Settings. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe path. To withdraw Google advertising matching, ask for deletion, or have Dreamland handle another privacy choice, email info@dreamlandmaidcafe.com and mention Dreamland Anime Cafe and the request.
